Scribepost for October 6, 2009

Today we were asked to make a scribe post about what 3 things we know about graphing and one thing we learned.

THREE THINGS:

First of all, I know we have to add labels and a title. It depends what labels you use , for each topic and the title.

Second of all, I know that it shows different information layed out and compares what categories are most popular and non popular.

Lastly, I know that you have to have intervals on the x and y-axis to determine how many you need to compare to the other categories.

There are also many different types of graphs you may use, like Bar graphs, Circle graphs, Pictographs, and also Line graphs.

WHAT I LEARNED:

One thing I learned was misleading graphs, I learned that you can add breaks to make the information be misleading or confusing.

Please comment, thanks.
