For homework we had to define the key words.

two term ratios: this means comparing two quantities measured in the same units.
three term ratios: this means comparing three quantities measured in the same units .
part to part ratios: this means comparing different parts of a group together.
part to whole ratios: this means comparing one part of a group to the whole group.
rate:the comparison of two quantities measured in different units.
unit rate: A rate in which the second term is 1.
unit price:A unit rate that involves prices. Often shown per 100 g or 100 mL.
proportion:
An equation that says that two ratios or two rates are equal. It can be written
infraction form as 1/4 = 25/100.
