BOB and Ratio

Today in math class Mr.Harbeck assigned us to do a BOB. We had to pick 3 part to part ratios, 2 part to total ratios and 2 three part ratios.

Part to Part Ratio (P:P):

blue to yellow- 1:4

yellow to green- 4:6

red to blue- 6:1

Part to Total (P:T):

blue to total- 1:17

red to total- 6:17

Part to Part to Part Ratio (P:P:P):

blue to yellow to green- 1:4:6

yellow to total to red- 4:17:6

My ratio that I will be expressing in a fraction, decimal, and percent is 1:4

fraction: b/y = 1/4

decimal: 0.25

percent: 25%

The equivalent fraction for 1:4 is

1:4 = 2:8
you get that by multiplying 2 from 1:4.

My questions are:

1. What is the ratio of green to M?

2. What is the ratio of red, blue, yellow to total?

3. Wat is the ratio of purple to green?
(what makes up purple)

THANKS FOR READING! (don't forget to answer the questions)

1What were the mistakes you made on your test. Show examples of answers that were wrong. What was your mistake. How will you remember what to do in future tests.

The mistakes that I made was not expressing the ratio in lowest terms, forgetting to put a word ratio and not using the ratio table.

The next time I do a test I will read the questions more carefully, study for the test, and to have a ratio table put in.

Rewrite 2 questions that gave you difficulty with different numbers.

1.Use the data below to determine which sports teams have equivalent scored by to scored ratios.

2. A picture frame has a width to length ratio of 10:12. If the width of the photo is 14, the length of the photo is
