today in class we were suppose to write down the key words in our foldable :

- Two-term ratio
- Three-term ratio
- Part-to-part ratio
- Part-to-whole ratio
- Rate
- Unit rate
- Unit place
- Proportion

Two-term ratio means comparing two quantities measured in the same units.
example 9:5 , 9 to 5

Three-term ratio means comparing three quantities measured in the same units.
like 3:5:10 , 3 to 5 to 10

Part to part ratio: compares different parts (sections) of a group together

part-to-whole ratio means to compare one part of a group to the whole group

rate means when your comparing two quantities measured in different units.

unit rate- A rate in which the second term is 1.

unit place- A unit rate that involves prices.

proportion means An equation that has two ratios or two rates are equal.
