Today we learned about ratios and things dealing with ratios. We had to write down some keywords for our foldable .
The words were:
Two-term ratio
Three-term ratio
Part-to-part ratio
Part-to-whole ratio
Rate- Unit rate
Unit place
Proportion
Two-term ratio means comparing two quantities measured in the same units.
eg.
12:24 or 12 to 24
Three-term ratio means comparing three quantities measured in the same units.
eg.
1:2:10 or 1 to 2 to 10
