Four 4's October 13/09

For homework we had to find similarities between (4/4) + (4/4) and (4÷4) + (4÷4).

In my opinion I believe they are the same because they go through the same steps to get the same answer.

eg.

(2÷2) = 1 whole pie
(2÷2) = 1 whole pie
1 whole pie + 1 whole pie = 2 whole pies

2/2 = 1 whole pie
2/2 = 1 whole pie
1 whole pie + 1 whole = 2 whole pies

They go through the same process and have the same answer that's why I believe they are the same.
