My BOB on Ratios

Part to Part Ratios
- Part to Part ratios are ratios that compare 2 parts of a group to each other

Blue to Red
9 : 7

Green to Blue
2 : 9

Red to Green
7 : 2

Part to Total Ratios

Green to Total

2 : 18

Red to Total
7 : 18

Part to Part to Part Ratios
- Part to Part to Part ratios are ratios that compare 3 different parts of a group to each other

Green to Red to Blue

2 : 7 : 9

Red to Blue to Green
7 : 9 : 2

Choose a ratio to write in Ratio Notation, Fraction, Decimal, and Percent Form.

Word Ratio Red to Total

Ratio Notation 7 : 18
Fraction Form Red/Total = 7/18
Decimal Form 7/18 = 0.3888.....

Percent 0.3888... x 100 = 38.88%

Choose a ratio to show Equivalent Ratios.

Green to Total
2 : 18

Equivalent ratios display the same data. You could get them by dividing the ratio by a common factor or by multiplying it by the same number.

Three Questions for you to Answer

1) Write the ratio of Red, Blue to Total in 3 different ways.

2)Write Blue to Green as a percent, decimal, and fraction.

3)Find and write all the Part to Total ratios and then simplify them.

Part 2

For our part 2 BOB we are supposed to put what we did wrong on the test but what we could improve on. I think I could improve on finding out an easier way to find the answer to a question without taking up so much time.
