I was flying a kite at the park when a big UFO came and crashed in the park.
A alien came out of the UFO and was looking at the damages to his ship,
He turn and looked at me with an evil glare then said answer 3 proportion questions
Or your planet will be doomed, so i had to answer them and quickly so these are the proportion questions the alien forced me to answer.
The first Question the alien asked me to answer is:
Two quarters has the same value as ten nickels.
What is the values of five quarters in nickels?
The value of 5 quarters nickles is 25 nickles witch equals $1.25.
The second question he forced me to answer is:
Delia was paid $35 for babysitting for 5 hours
How much should she receive for 3 hours?
She will receive 21 dollars for 3 hours of babysitting.
The last question he forced me to answer is:
Last night 30cm of snow fell in 6 h.
If it continues snowing at the same rate, how long will it take for 45m of snow o fall?
Determine the answer in two different ways.
A)
There will be 45 cm of snow in 9 hours.
B)
After i was done all the proportion questions he was pleased to see what i did and he left
are planet and went back to his using his friend that came and picked him up
in a UFO and they were gone. so i went back home and went to bed after a long day of proportion. :)
