Brendan's Scribepost for November 24, 2009

Today in Math class, we built squares with grid-like paper.

First, we got a big piece of paper, folded it in half, and wrote this on it at the top.

To find the area of a square, you must square one of the sides.
E.g 2 squared = 4
Squaring a number means to multiply a number by itself.
In class, we had to find out what was the biggest square we could make with 2 squares.
I found out that a 1.4 by 1.4 square is the biggest square we could make. I had four squares left over.
Each square is 0.1 of the whole 1.4 by 1.4 square.
That's what we did in Math class today .
P.S - Sorry for the bad pictures. I have a really bad camera and I can't find a place with good lighting.

Good job brendan!
You explain what we did today really good. You could of highlighted words that were important and add some colour so it stands out but everything else was good.

I like how you explained everything we did very well. Maybe next time you should add colour to help things pop out. Good Job.

Nice blog Brendan. The pictures aren't that bad. One thing that I think you forgot was what we had to do with our homework.

Awesome post Brendan!
The pictures were really great, they were clear, and understandable, but you should've added more colour to your scribe to help things pop out to people.
Anyway, good job!
