3 Things I learned about graphing is.....

1.There are many types of graphs you can use to represent some kind of data. Some types of graphs are :
  • Bar graph- Best for comparing data across categories
  • Circle graph- Best for comparing categories to the whole using percents
  • Pictograph- Best for comparing data that can be easily counted and represented using symbols
  • Line graph- Best for showing changes in data over time

There are many more, but those are one that are mainly used.

2. Misrepresenting data is all about messing up the graph to make it look inaccurate. Some types of misrepresent is a graph by:
  • Distorting the scale by puting an axis break ( // )
  • Distorting the visual ( making a picture bigger than the rest )
  • Distorting the size on a bar graph
  • Distorting the graph by making something pop out. like make the colors and words pop out.

3. Making your graph accurate and efficient.

  • Have a title and labels
  • Have your interval spaced equaly
  • Explain what your graph is about, so when they look at it they know what your talking about
  • Have your bars spaced out
Those are the things i've learned about graphing

What i can improve on is more conclusions and organzing my numbers in a better way.

Thanks for reading my scribepost!
