Surface Area Growing Post

So for this post we have to show what we know and learned about triangular prisms, rectangular prism & cylinders.

Rectangular Prism

Formula

A=LxW

Top A=LxW
A=30x10

A=300m squared

Front
A=LxW
A=30x20
A=600m squared
Side
A=LxW
A=20x10
A=200m squared Total Surface area= 300x2+200x2+600x2
Total Surface area= 2200m squared

Cylinder

Formulas
Circumference=(PI)D

Area=d/2 Area=r2xpi
Area of a Prism
LxW C=D(Pi)
C=12xPi C=37.68m2 A=D/2
A=12/2
A=6 A=6x6xPi A=113.04m2

37.68x74=2788.32

Total Surface Area= 2788.32+113.04x2 Total Surface Area= 3014.4m2

Triangular Prism

Formulas

A= BxH/2

A=LxW

A=LxW
A=100x2
A=200m squared A=BxH/2 A=100x8/2 A=400m squared TSA= 400x2+200+200 TSA=1200
